Therapies
Family Therapy
Family Therapy helps family members identify how specific behaviours affect others, learn new ways of relating to each other, resolve conflicts, and open lines of communication between all family members.
Music and Movement
This form of therapy can involve singing, listening to music, dancing, and using various instruments, rhythms, and sounds.
Gestalt Therapy
Gestalt therapy is a form of psychotherapy which emphasizes personal responsibility, and focuses upon the individual's experience in the present moment, the therapist–client relationship, the environmental and social contexts of a person's life, and the self-regulating adjustments people make as a result of their overall situation.
Drama
Drama therapy helps promote positive behavioural changes, improve interpersonal relationships and achieve personal growth. Allowing people to express themselves through the performance and character work, encourages physical and emotional well-being.
Paint and Draw
Art therapy is based on any creative or artistic activity that you can focus on without pressure and judgement. You draw, paint, sculpt or simply colour – focusing more on the process than the goal. Through drawing and painting you have the opportunity to express your subconscious thoughts and feeling and can externalised them through the facilitation of the therapist.
Meditation
The mental health benefits of meditation include better focus and concentration, improved self-awareness and self-esteem, lower levels of stress and anxiety, and fostering kindness. Meditation also has benefits for your physical health, as it can improve your tolerance for pain and help fight substance addiction.
Clay – Sculpt
Clay sculpting provides a tactile form of therapy that allows one be expressive
as an extension of ourselves. Through it, both our conscious and unconscious ideas and desires are expressed.
